Let Emma Hollingsworth, aka Mulganai, take you on a journey through Country. For Indigenous peoples and allies alike, Emma invites you to discover the places she grew up - Second Beach, Cardwell, Lockhart, Budgebulla - the stories that she was told by her ancestors, and the animals, people and plants that bring her world to life.

Featuring 45 artworks to colour paired with stories and descriptions in Emma's own words, Mulganai is the celebration of a contemporary First Nations artist and her community.

Product Features:

• Emma is based in Meanjin and is a prominent contemporary artist. It is contemporary artists like her who are revolutionising the Indigenous art space. This new colouring book series from THA is about celebrating those young, independent, First Nations artists and inviting them to share their story through art.
• The book starts with an introduction by Emma and moves on to stories from her childhood. Places mentioned are Cardwell, Budgebulla, Lockhart and more. She talks about animals as totems, particularly the crocodile, kookaburra, willy wagtail and gecko. The middle of the book focuses on celebrating the land, the sea and the animals, and the end of the book focuses on Emma's self-discovery as an artist.
• Emma's designs have appeared on products for clients such as Nike, Apple, Peter Alexander and Australia Post.
• The colouring book features 45 unique artworks including five double-page artworks, plus additional colouring artworks on the flaps. The majority of the artworks are paired with descriptions from Emma, in her own words, telling her story
