Plain Janes believes in providing high quality products and we are confident that you will love what you have purchased from us. However, we understand that occasionally you may not be 100% happy with what you have selected online; therefore Plain Janes is pleased to offer the following return policy.


An exchange, credit note or refund, for full priced items will be provided only where:

-Merchandise is in a saleable condition along with original packaging and all tags attached.

-Merchandise is not worn, damaged, altered or washed.

-Merchandise is wrongly described.

-Merchandise is different to the item ordered.

Returns will be approved at Plain Janes discretion.

If you wish to make an exchange the extra shipping charges will be at your own cost.

Please note that we do not allow exchanges or refunds on sale items, all sale items are final sale. We will not exchange or refund any jewellery or swimwear.

Please contact to obtain instructions before returning a product. Once we receive your return, please allow 1-2 business days for processing.

If you are unhappy with your purchase and would like to exchange or refund, we require you to contact us within 7 days (this excludes sale items). All returns must be authorised by Plain Janes. You will need to provide proof of purchase. We will supply you with a return authority and instructions on how to return the product. The item must be returned within 7 days of return authority. Please note you are responsible for returning the product to Plain Janes and all charges incurred are at your expense.

If you are wanting an exchange, a $10 postage fee to re-send will apply. This can either be charged over the phone prior to resending the item to you, or you can simply include a paid satchel in your delivery to us.

It is required that items are returned using registered post with the appropriate insurance to ensure items are secure in transit. Once we receive returned product as long as it is unworn and in its original condition including any tags or packaging we will provide you with an exchange or refund. Please note that due to limited supply of products, the items you have purchased may be out of stock or sold out and a full refund will be provided. All exchanges and returns are subject to Plain Janes terms and conditions.

Please note exchanges on products bought online may be made in store (Long Jetty) and a store credit or a refund may be provided using your original method of payment.

All items are carefully inspected and packaged before they are shipped. Damage occurring en route is highly unlikely however should this occur please contact us to report the fault within 2 days of receiving the item/s.

All items need to be kept in original condition including tags & packaging material and you will also need to provide proof of purchase. Plain Janes will cover all postage costs if the item is deemed faulty. All products need to be unworn and in their original condition. All returns are to be authorised by Plain Janes, we will provide you with instructions for returns. We will assess the damage or fault immediately.

Please note that all refunds due to faulty items will be processed using original method of payment. All returns and exchanges are subject to our terms and conditions.

Please note items that have been damaged from wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. Plain Janes is not responsible for and will not accept the return of any item that is not returned in a new, unused and unworn condition. All returns must be authorised by Plain Janes.

Please note in the unfortunate, rare circumstance the item ordered has been sold simultaneously in store, Plain Janes will attempt to re-order the item, however if sold out, you will have the choice of store credit, exchange or full refund.
