Who we are now.
Plain Janes Store is a beautiful light-filled boutique on the sunny Central Coast.
It is now owned by Britney Woods, a mum of two, wife to Damien and lover of all things beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.
Plain Janes is like a mixed bag of lollies, there is something for everyone. You walk in for one thing and walk out with a whole lot more.
Everything in our store is thoughtfully selected from leading Australian and international brands.
We also have a focus on supporting local creators and makers, so you’ll find beautiful ceramics, candles, beach towels, perfumes and margarita mixes all made and designed within the Central Coast.
Where it started.
Plain Janes Store began its journey in the summer of 2014 by April and Amelia.
Two self employed sisters with separate small businesses joined forces to create something special for the Central Coast. They saw a gap in the market for a store that had comfortable yet fashion forward pieces as well as homewares and lifestyle products perfect for gifting or your own home.
Four months later Plain Janes was born.
It's a privilege to be part of the movement that changed this gorgeous little pocket of the Central Coast. The area was slowly starting to bustle back then and now in 2024 it is thriving with creatives and new businesses.
